I thought it was an amazing way to bring the musical to the big screen but taking out Mrs. Rosario and one of my favorite songs, Enough, made the film feel like it was missing something. It was really noticeable in the other songs also that had to have lyrics altered since there was no Camila.

It was a great movie with a lot of heart. It had some unexpected changes from the stage production but it never lost sight of the meaning behind this story.

So happy to see a big budget movie musical! Loved the nods to Royal Wedding, Million Dollar Mermaid, etc. during the fantasy sequences. Beautiful cinematography. It's Lin's freshman effort and while still very solid, it did not give me all the "feels" of his magnum opus, Hamilton (although I loved the Hamilton easter egg, by the way! Nice touch!) I will see this again during its official release!

The movie was great. Disappointed the screening didn't let me cast it from my phone to my TV
