I think it's more of gospel movie to spread the word of Jesus. I was expecting more of the Romans Empire fighting.

I will rate this film two ways. As a positive Christian message I would rate the film as excellent. However, I believe Sony is making a mistake releasing the film In February. I think the film would be more successful released during Good Friday/Easter. Now as a studio film I would rate this as below average. The film is cheaply made. It is the equivalent of the old "B movies". The accents vary between American, British and Scottish. The script is comical, when it should be serious.

An interesting view taken for a classic biblical story.

I really enjoyed the movie except the actor who played Jesus. A different actor should have been chosen. The main Character who was summoned by Pilot was a great actor. I was moved by his passion in playing his role. He was perfect. I would recommend this movie to my friends and family but just be prepared to be disappointed with one actor. Still not sure why the name was Yeshua and not Jesus.
