I understand they were trying to portray Jericho as a ruthless psycopath, but the violence in the movie was really overdone. No reason to give our current day psychopathic copy cats new ammo, after all. The storyline had some real holes. Surprised Ryan Reynolds didn't get ANY billing, why did Alice Eve? Was she the blonde detective? with two/three lines? Interesting concept. . .

It was too rough in language and violence.

We received free screening passes for this movie. It's not one that I would have chosen usually. Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Oldman were great as always. However, I felt the story just didn't develop Kevin Costner's or Ryan Reynold's characters enough for you to have sympathy or empathy for them. It's got action, murder, some minor suspense, couple of surprises. Just OK.

It was a bit boring and not a very original theme.
