Not winning any awards but it was entertaining, as scary as the premise is given our current situation.

It was entertaining and sadly a possibility in real life.

The movie had a good look/grade to it and had a satisfying pace. I enjoyed the suspenseful moments along with a couple of surprises here and there. The film started well with a dramatic opening but disappointed me on a few points which I'll list below. 1. I'm not entirely sure what Emmett's motive is. Why did he still feel the need to harm Sara if he already knew she was immune? what was he trying to achieve? 2. The final altercation with the immunity bracelet felt a bit anticlimactic. I was left waiting to see if anything else was going to happen. 3. I would have appreciated more world-building. It fell as though this movie centered around a couple of blocks despite the various onscreen maps displayed. The opening newscasts gave a bit of a sense of the world but I would like to have heard more, cleverly sprinkled throughout the film to give a larger sense of scope. Did other countries take different approaches? Would it make more sense for the escape plan to extend beyond the states? Thanks for the opportunity to watch and review.

Outside of this year wouldn’t of really considered it possible. Yet somehow the familiar tone of a Michael bay movie came through from semi pedophilia to the way it wrapped up.
