A little complex but enjoyable

I don’t think the preview matched the plot of the movie. I thought some plot points were not explained thoroughly and the mushroom poisoning thing was strange.

I do not think the film has wide appeal, but I enjoyed it very much. It was visually stunning - the apparel was breathtaking. While I enjoyed it overall, it was a bit too slow moving and long. The scene of the dressmakers taking over the repair of the wedding dress was exciting in that it showed the dressmakers as highly skilled competent artists in their own right. The use of close up was a bit jarring at times and took me out of the moment as I did not see a point to using the close up (other than for future viewing on a small screen). Thank you!
