Wish Upon is a new spin on the Monkey's Paw and Wishmaster. I really enjoyed the twist of events and the ending was great (shocker!). The acting was not the best but decent at most. Overall, the plot and character development were good. Not a bad suspense/horror movie.

The premise of the movie was good, however, the acting from a few different characters were a half a step behind the goal of being great. Overall, I thought it was a pretty decent movie but I believe the film will only have an Impact on teens.

I enjoyed the movie. Clare's father (a junk collector) gives her an unusual chinese box. It is the box of seven wishes. However, with each wish comes a consequence.
