This film left a lot to be desired. It was a great storyline, but there was a much more exciting angle that could have been explored. Its a quiet film, so very easy to fall asleep on. I found it anticlimactic.

I thought there was way too much dialog in the film, and the plot lines were very confusing/unlikely. It just made me think of leaving for most of it as I was extremely bored, except I was hoping for a good ending. Sadly I was disappointed. The premise sounded very promising, the film I watched was not.

Geez, what a disaster, where to begin? Idris is completely miscast as a monotone, mumbling djinn. He was far better in his role on "The Office." The film's story is aimless and pointless; we kept waiting for something noteworthy to happen. (To my right, throughout the movie two people were scrolling on their iPhones, and in the center section, one man snored loudly.) From beginning to end, the special effects were poor and cheap looking. Who signed off on this travesty, and who agreed to finance it? If the movie's backers had a wish, they would wish that this movie were never made.
