"Barbarian" is not good - it's just okay. Great overall concept with a solid story. Fell apart when the filmmakers made the decision to introduce a whole new character approximately 40 - 45 minutes into the movie. Although this character coherently fit into the story, the transition was poorly executed. \r Tension lost and tone severely disrupted. It felt like a new movie had just begun.

I'm rating this movie a 1 because I can't rate it a 0. It was very slow and extremely predictable. It could have been a 45 minute fun, not 1:44.
