I’m a big fan of the original 1950’s series and the Chris Reeves films. The treason is that I grew to admire the characters as they showed heart and even though these are Sci Fi Fantasy in nature, there is a human factor that is relatable. I found this film to possess the same qualities as the earlier incarnations. Her troubled past, the conflict within her world both past and present and the unbridled affection for her beloved Crypto gave this film the feeling that all good stories need; a desire for the viewer to root for the hero or in this case the heroine.

Strong movie but a bit long

Fun, high energy, great backstory and character development

I enjoyed the action- I was a little confused because I didn't know some of the Supergirl lore, but the movie did a good job of explaining it.
