What a great movie!!!

The movie was powerful!!! We were soooo pulled in and tuned into the messages that the movie had to offer. The actors did a great job trying to portray the roles they were selected for. You can tell they did some studying. Though fictional, it felt like a real conversation that they would've had. The only thing that was a setback in this movie was that it was in the form of a play so there wasn't many scenes and interactions with other people YET we all understand that this is based off a play anyway, so it made it easier to adapt to it's filming form. THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALLOWING THIS!

A beautiful debut film from Regina King about the power of voices. Great performances all around!

Very strong performances from a cast you can tell studied their characters very well. The screenwriting presented dynamic dialogue that left me thoughtful after viewing.
