I’m not usually a musical fan so the only piece that pulled me out of the story were the full-on musical numbers with choreography etc. The film was Much more enjoyable than I had been expecting.

I think it's one of the great movie this year. The actors are great and Taron Egerton makes a perfect Elton John. It's a great way to discover the music of this great musician!

What could easily have been a cliched story of the Poor Little Rock Star was instead at turns poignant, heart-rending, and triumphant. Stellar performances by all and a fantasy that’s only flaw is that you’re expected to sit still to enjoy it rather than give in to the power of the music making you want to dance along with it.

Visually has stunning moments. The storyline is solid. Musically fun.
