I wasn't entirely sure what to expect with this movie. The trailer had looked really good, so I figured it should be a good movie. Well it exceeded my expectations! It was so good and kept you drawn in the whole time! It was a fantastic origin story and Joaquin Phoenix was the perfect person for the role! I definitely recommend that people see this movie!

Joaquin Phoenix gave an unbelievable performance. Storyline was different from anything we've seen, to be expected as it's the first full length to do with this character. Loved the tie in with the batman comics that was sprinkled in just enough to be relevant but not enough to take over the film.
