Jaded & cynical critics BE DAMNED! Tom Hardy is Brock/VENOM & Sony got it 100% right this time (action/comedy/drama). This is outside MCU by mutual agreement - it's the Marvel-San-Fran-Venom-verse. SFX/CGI symbiotes look/move way better than most Spideys have. Too intense/dark for little kiddies. Will see again in Vision/ATMOS. Can't wait for the director's R-rated cut for Deadpool-like full impact. Sit through ALL the end credits. 'Nuff said...

It's a fun ride for Marvel fans. Tom Hardy gives a solid performance. It took too long to see Venom in full, however. As always, stay through the credits for scenes. The CGI and effects were good. There was plenty of humor infused. Overall, while not one of the best from Marvel, it's still an enjoyable film.

It was a good story and had a great ending. Kept the audience intrigued and guessing what would happen. Was not a movie you could guess the plot as it unfolded.
