I think my 9 year old liked it. I think he thought it was sweet. I, on the other hand, thought it was dark and stunted. I think there were way more opportunities for humor, the army of toys was kinda scary, and the message wasn’t crystal clear. My 9 year old doesn’t get what darkness represents other than scary. The metaphor was lost. I wish the monkey was a little less serious. He was bleh.

My son said he enjoyed it, but I didn't really.

Movie was just okay, not spectacular. Nice graphics and story line.
