The landscape was beautiful and it was well acted with raw emotion by Robin Wright.

If this is not based on a true story my rating might be lower. The protagonist's passive suicidal wish dominated her thinking and she deliberately made life-threatening decisions. The film redeemed itself after introducing the two Native Americans who were both kind, loving and selfless.Magnificent scenery

The cinematography and acting were excellent. The survival story was a bit implausible.

I liked the movie. The reason she wanted to be alone was revealed so late in the movie. If the reason was given earlier, I might have understood why she wanted to be alone. Who would not want to be alone after such a tragedy?
