Always love to see true stories, unbeliveable

The movie was very inspiring. He was a true hero who believed in God wholeheartedly.

The story of Desmond Doss is beautifully captured by director/actor Mel Gibson. His latest offering is clearly one more proof that he is a great director. Gibson returns with Hacksaw Ridge and does not dissapointed shot in two acts it truly captures the story of the first conscientious objector to win a Medal of Honor without having beared arms during the battle of Okinawa in WWII.

I thought the film rocked. The war scenes seemed just to real . . . have a much better understanding of why our soldiers come back and might have some issues. Not sure I would have cast Vince Vaughn, but Desmond Doss's story needed be told, he really is a true hero ! ! !
