It was from a different point of view... which was good however it looked like the Oscars-whitewash- not a single Africian American actor was seen. I know that this was one persons opinion however Africans were around during Jesus time and should have seen at least one person that looked like me!!! The TV series the Bible was much better!

You about need captions because it seemed like there was a lot of muttering. It was hard to understand some of thr the lines.This movie would bot be a good movie to turn someone to Jesus based on the content of this movie. I have known Jesus all of my life being raised in a pastor's home. So I had a lot of forek foreknowledge going into this movie. It didn't have enough details about Jesus. They could have given the soldier more of a revelation experienc since they made his story up anyways.

The one thing going for it is that it wasn't preachy. I didn't have high expectations for the film, given the subject, so it wasn't nearly as terrible as I thought it might be.For those who believe in this stuff, they'll probably like it.
