Good movie! I was not familiar with the story prior to watching this. The lead actor was phenomenal!

While I felt it was an important subject and the film itself was compelling, I believe it fell a little short in terms of further developing the characters outside of Mohammadou (sp?). The actor who played him, by the way, gave a most remarkable performance and, in my opinion, was the stand-out feature of the film. Appreciated Jodie Foster’s acting’s in the role of Nancy Hollander but felt Shailene Woodley’s character, Teri, was underdeveloped and, as a very good, credible actor, could have been made more of an integral, empathetic part of the story (as compared to Hollander’s stoicism).

Slow but good

Jodie Foster was awesome in all that she done. The main male character did a good job too. The storyline was very compelling and made me wonder abt the others whom are still there in Guantonemo whom may be innocent too. Opened my mind up and be more curious abt the place and the people.
