I thought the movie was great. It did a good job of contrasting innocence and morality versus the brutal, almost inhuman war battles. The movie also did a good job of creating tension. I also thought that having mentioning Braveheart and The Passion of The Christ without mentioning Mel Gibson was a clever marketing technique.

I liked it, it was a good mixture of comedy, drama and action. Kept my attention and filled in the story line pretty well. Would definitely pay to see it again!

MUST SEE! Hacksaw Ridge is a great move with action, gore, and so much more. Doss is a true hero with bravery that is rare and faith that is unbroken. Award worthy. This movie is great for believers and non believers. This movie hit my emotions on war, faith, judgment, and acceptance. Inpirational. MUST SEE

Riveting action war movie about one man's patriotism for his country. Terrific ensemble acting especially Andrew Garfield and Vince Vaughn. The battle scenes were a little too long at times.
