Tense film...edge of your seat

It was quite unrealistic. I enjoyed it and for action doomsday movie lovers, I would recommend it. However, it was really doom and gloom so I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the free viewing.

Greenland has stunning special effects, and its theme of survival is as universal as life itself. The first half of the film was most effective in telling the story of the protagonist family and their struggle to remain together and get to safety. The second half with their separation, struggle to find each other, and pursuit of Greenland faltered some. Some of the performances were stronger than others and made the realistic fiction story believable. Gerard Buttler’s wife showed particular strength in delivering the strongest performance as the wronged wife; the loving/ concerned mother; the grieving daughter; and the strength of this family trying to keep it together under the most difficult of situations. The story itself feels like it’s been told before, but it carves a niche unto itself in the disaster film category by giving us a Noah’s ark like finale that although bleak is also hopeful.
