I knew the singing and storytelling would be good, but the dancing unexpectedly blew me away. The pride I had in seeing this film, seeing diversity represented on screen, the strong cultural references and the colors were so overwhelming. From the colors to the choreography, it all made my heart happy!

It was beautifully directed. It had me in tears, multiple times. I appreciated the differences from the stage musical, but also how beautifully it captured what I loved about it.

I wish the female singers did not have their voices as altered or auto tuned; The male singers seemed to have a much more authentic sound. Believe in your talented cast and let them sing! Thanks!

Lovely. But it was hard to understand what the characters were saying some of the time.
