A sad true story of how Slahi was imprisoned for many years in Guantanamo and tortured by the military for something he did not do. He was forced to sign a confession and luckily had a good attorney that believed in him. Even the US military prosecutor believed him. The US government had him imprisoned without any charges against him. Very good acting and Slahl has written a best selling book about his life in prison that this movie is based on.

I wish American had not engaged in such crimes against humanity in order to get the truth. However, the story was indicative of who we really are as a nation, hypocrites. When it comes to humanitarianism, we’re no better then other nation’s. The movie made me very sad, but I still enjoyed the story.
