Better than expected. The SFX were really good, and I felt they developed the story and character of Kong very well. I did feel much of the dialogue was forced in that they were trying to create a witty, humourous banter among the soldiers in particular, but fell flat for the most part. Again, the Kong character and story were good, the sub-plot was a stretch and felt like filler.

I enjoyed it. It's a good explanation for the existence of KONG and possibly even GODZILLA (should there be a sequel).

There will be a Kong: Skull Island 2 in 2018.

Lots of action, and there is always something happening! I liked all the creatures and monsters...the lizard creature was especially terrifying. My only criticism was the digital look...it made everything look so fake as oppose to film which gleams a warmer look and I find to be more immersive.
