The movie was fun, and far more cerebral than most action movies, the world was well built and interesting. However, it felt like the creators couldn't help but hit the tired old notes of the male power fantasy. It's almost non-sensical that a 800 year old viking would fall for a 23 year old insecure bartender. Also, Elijah Wood was perfectly cast as an impossible to predict betrayer.

Loved the special effects and casting but the ending was predictable and the lead female was unconvincing.

I absolutely loved this movie! Can't wait to see it again! Action packed and great visual effects!

It was hard to follow.
