I feel like they were working on the remake and then someone saw Hereditary and was like "ok, wait!"

It was pretty decent. I appreciated the twists made to the original plot to freshen it up for those of us very familiar with the story. Found it to have a very traditional horror movie style pacing. I did like John Lithgow better than I thought I would, but Fred Gwynne still embodies Jud for me.

It ended really fast and not enough action or thrill

Scarier than the first one. Liked the movie but it could have been more scary. Maybe more dead time.
