Inspirational movie. Follow your dreams. I like how they show her parents experience and how they see things specially during the talent show.. The only thing I would change is that she is seen in 3 different occasions with the same sweatshirt.

On one hand, this is so conventional and cheap looking at times that I felt a bit of a flashback to the Mandy Moore starring features of the mid 2000s.\r\rOn the other, founding the plot around three deaf actors and making it feel legitimate is an achievement. As in, they don't feel like the subject of pity--just themselves. \r\rThat's probably why it can deliver so well on its premise.
