Heartwarming film. Interesting plot twists. I didn't like parts of the illegal immigrant bit in this plot. I wish that could have been done without in this. I think people will see this if they can get to the theaters. They could have toned down some of the swearing so that you could have kids watch it.

Half Brothers is a likeable, feel-good movie that has enough laughs and sweet moments to raise it above it formulaic and predictable premise. It would make a good date movie and is perfect for the holiday season with its family story.

It was a light heart comedy. There were moments I lasughed and I was invested in the story. I don't think the dad earned the redemption he was seeking. I wonder if something else preventing him from going home would've made me feel that way.

Very solid, if unremarkable film. The plot was a touch unrealistic but it more than makes up for that in the characters and their arcs. Some very funny moments, and definitely very moving at times.
