The movie was great. I loved the music and choreography. There were quite a few differences from the musical but it all translated to the big screen well. I thought the addition of the DACA/Dreamers bit was very poignant and timely given our current situation.

Brilliant production, great choreography, but some parts could be cut.

It started off slow but it quickly got into the music. Each song was both visually stunning, meaningful, and lyrically beautiful. Cinematography was beautiful, from capturing what other characters are thinking, to the gorgeous sunset. The music and dances where very catchy and while I hadn't seen the on stage show before I throughly enjoyed the film and both danced and singed along to it.
