I had low expectations and was still disappointed. Putting aside that the movie didn't adapt the game very well, the actors were clearly not giving their best performances. The film is also very choppily edited, and the plot moves along too quickly for any of the individual scenes to mean anything. Also, there are a lot of laughably bad moments, such as the scene with the gemstone puzzle.

I thought the fight scenes were below basic. The story line was not well developed.

The movie was bland... The way that the story was told has been done 100's of times. I think with a talent like Alicia Vikander, you could have done better.

First of all, the script is superficial. You can almost predict every twist. Then the performance, is below my expectation. I mean, even though I don't expect another Angelina Jolie, Lara should be a stronger character, but Alicia presented us with a weak woman. Not physically weak, but the feeling of being weak. The two stars are for the two most striking scenes of the sea and the plane.
