Very good family film! I laughed, I cried, I cheered, and I want to see it again!

It was a beautifully heartfelt coming of age story. The characters and situations felt real. It it wanted to break your heart it did. When it wanted to make you laugh it did and when it wanted you to cheer you did. The movie was great.

It states a great question but the film itself is unrealistic. He is not like most of us since he is rich and privileged. And you missed the opportunity to address suicidality that is rampant for this group. You did address bullying but not the consequences. And the Father's blatant sexism was not addressed, his character was diminished.Overall good movie but fluff when it could have been more.

heartwarming as love story genre goes. love truly is a great equalizer.
