I enjoyed CODA. It was a lot different than most movies I’m used to (random comedies) but, it kept me interested. I loved the humor in the relationship between the parents. And the emphasis on the challenges and the ‘normalcy’ of life experienced within the deaf community. My first time seeing MM was in “Children of A Lesser God”, as a kid. And she’s as good and as natural as she was then.

Cute movie! CODA delivered a fun and unique story. The closed captioning subtitles were extremely well done and helpful for the scenes where dialogue was primarily signed by hand. It was surprising to hear some of the adult language/content and I audibly found some jokes to be funny and laughed out loud. The soundtrack has quality hit songs, selected with good intention and stirring good feelings.
