The movie overall is good but could be better. Some of the dialogue is corny such as the one spoken by Simon or Peter about his leg wound leaving a scar and him yelling that he is going fishing at night. and also Bartholomew during his interrogation. The relationship between Clavius and Jeshua (jesus) could be better develop.

It was a good movie with a lot of different yet interesting characters. I like how we get to see the risen story from the perspective of a Rome solider and how the movie turns into a who done it type of movie. It's a little slow pacing wise but worth checking out no matter if you are a beliver in the Christian faith or not.

Just a story. I hope there really were good Romans ... this Tribune wasn't the usual representation.

The movie was well played out and great Actors, but the reason for the 3-stars is this could have been a television movie. It was interesting to know what was going on away from the crucifixion and how others were reacting to the death of Jesus.
