I hate this movie i love the first one

The story is very bad. There's no growth from the previous movie about the evil spirit that smiles at you. The main character scrambles to find answers to what is haunting her.However she has no answers at all. She tormented the whole film with no solution. What was the point in this film but to show gruesome deaths, and screams for cheap thrills. Story really needs more detail to story structure
