I enjoyed the movie. Viola Davis was extraordinary, as usual. Each headline actor was great. I, however, did not care for how music was used in the film. Don't get me wrong, it is a great soundtrack. The audience and I definitely enjoyed the great 80s songs. The music, however, was too loud too often, which I suppose served to distract the audience from the shallow script. To insert a loud 80s classic at every break was an amateurish and lazy move.

Good acting but a little slow.

A movie about white people riding on the success of a black man. Shallow and ignorant.

The movie lacked enough emotional stakes to make the story of signing Michael Jordan to Nike neither compelling nor triumphant. Most of the main characters aside from Viola Davis's character were fairly bland and difficult to root for on any meaningful level.
