Its a decent movie to pas the time. We liked it. It was very long movie. Usually quite good, but at times, can be a bit slow. Thanks

Not so bad.

Not as I expected or was hoping for. Some scenes drawn WAY too long. Williams wasn't helping with her long-dragged scenes.. Wasn't so happy with her in this. Both actors, including the younger, playing Sammy, were great. No, not one I'll rave about to friends. Will watch it again later from home to see if I missed something better, but can't say I will. Not one of my Spielberg faves.

The film was pretty good, but at 2.5 hours, it's pretty long. It's a bittersweet movie, and it shows that if you grew up in Southern California in the 1960s, and you didn't look like one of the Beach Boys, it wasn't always, "fun, fun, fun." Spielberg suffered from antisemitism in high school, and the film's plot jumps around a lot. We do get insight into what inspired the young director to be.
