I enjoyed this movie. I was able to use my projector for the first time and it felt like I was at the movie theater

Tremendous movie that does an excellent job showing the complexities of the Asian American experience & the harsh duality of cultures, while keeping the film sincerely relatable on all fronts, even if you aren’t AAPI. It is a joy to not only see Asian & Black representation, but to also see it reflected in multiple facets, giving the viewer a greater ease in observing the depth of racial, cultural, economic, & generational differences without feeling like it’s all tokenized. Director Eddie Huang takes on the many layers extremely well, w/ a subtly that made me feel spoken to rather than at.
