A wonderful and moving account of four famous men who lived yet under pressures from outside and inside their stardom-race, religion, family, friendships and careers. Those were tTurbulence times, such as is now, yet they pushed forward in their time to make changes.

I saw the world premier at the Rouge Theater a few years back in LA. The movie did the play justice, and it's a powerful play. Regina King opened it up beautifully. Leslie Odom, Jr. should get and Oscar nom. So too Kemp Powers for adaptation and Terence Blanchard for score. Thank you for allowing me to see this important film. I'm sure to watch it many times and recommend it to friends and family members.

A great transition from stageplay to film. The dialogue was complex yet left room for pause and cadence. Sets were beautiful and the DP really captured the essence. Really amazing acting, loved these character portrayals. I love that Regina, A Black Woman directed these beautiful Black men in the way she did. She is incredible and so multitalented. Job WELL done. God is Great! \r\rI pray it wins ALL the awards. \r~Sing
