The writing was both funny and smart. Good perfomances by both ben stiller and naomi watts.

Not Baumbach's best, but still very good nonetheless. It gets right in deep and helps us appreciate others that are different from us and to accept things are they naturally are. I also got a great sense of self acceptance from this film. It was weirdly inspiring, comical at times in a sort of dark and real way. It did have it's dramatic moments that never feel pushy or preachy but understanding.

This was such a treat to watch! It was unique and uniquely funny
