It incredibly well-acted & the scenery and characters compelling but I thought the development of the main character’s trauma was a little underwhelming and I didn’t get a sense of the male lead’s trauma with his family until the end. It felt like it was a bit of a surprise-ish ending but lacked development. As an outdoorsy person I was also distracted as to why a bear was out roaming in the winter when it should have been hibernating & no explanation was given for this. Overall I enjoyed the film from an entertainment perspective & appreciate the inclusion of indigenous actors and practices.

I'm glad I watched this movie, though I felt parts of it went a bit slow. It was heart breaking and heart warming and just beautiful to watch.

Loved the scenery. Too bad that Canada had to stand in for yet another country.\rWell developed story. Actors were great and I liked the fact that they were little known, except for the lead. \r
