I thought it was a very sad movie. Here is a kid that did everything right from a nurturing, loving family & he dies very young. I go to the movies to forget the bad things in this world.

I loved the story line. For once, it was not about the coach or team, but insight about a specific player's journey. Nice story

It wasn't as good a Rudy but that comparing apples and oranges. It was a good sports story and on that I didn't know. Bit did a good job paying respect to the player. Bit felt a little hallmark for me but still worth seeing if you like those kind of things and football.

This a moving story with some stilted performances. I thought that it seemed like the writers wanted to stay true to the tale so they were li ite by only a handful of anecdotes. It's an enjoyable film that could have been better with more thoughtful character development.
