It did not grab me. For the most part it held my attention but it seemed to be lacking in something that I cannot put my finger on. Nothing to write home about.

The movie starts off strong. It is well acted and could have been a great film. The problem with it is that it ends 1/2 hour later than it should have. There is a moment when the mystery is solved and it would have been a stand up and cheer moment if they went to closing credits there instead of milking the story further. A good film that could have been amazing.

Enjoyed it immensely. Not sure I appreciated or understood the need to frame this story in a flashback. I liked the grittiness of the sets/locations. The brutality of crucifixion was dramatically presented without any need for excessive gore. I thought the writer did a good job portraying the events from such an interesting perspective. Kudos to the actors for delivering hard to deliver performances. It's an interesting movie that I have no problem recommending.
