It’s hard to give an honest opinion since the Broadway soundtrack is drilled into my brain. But John Chu brought this story to life. And kept the heart of the show. I wanna see how my friends and family who aren’t familiar with the musical think about it. The shrinking of Nina and Benny’s live story was a good choice to consolidate the narrative. I miss Inútil but Jimmy Smitz plays Kevin very well

Gotta say the movie we need the most especially in this depressing pandemic time. The impressive direction, gorgeous cinematography and well choreographed musical numbers gave me an utter delight. Thank you Jon Chu and Lin Manuel Miranda!

Visually stunning, great choreo. The sound seemed far too quiet - couldn't say whether that was a problem here or on the films end. Lots of heart and soul cane thru.
