This was a fun movie that would have been better without all of the swearing. It was such a great story that making it an R rated film just cut out a lot of the people who could have gone to see it. The chemistry between Will and Reese was great! The story was fun! Just the language issue!

Very funny and sentimental. The jump scare got me!

It was entertaining. There were some parts that didn’t flow so well but overall it was good. That said, I think I preferred seeing it on the big screen. If it was just at home I probably wouldn’t watch it. My favorite scene was at the end when the daughter told the woman about her dad liking her and the woman started remembering all the times he smiled at her with his goofy smile. That was hilarious!

A fun comedy film. Will Ferrel and Reese Witherspoon have instant chemistry and Geraldine Viswanathan gets to showcase her talent. Her character is similar to those she has played in Miracle Workers and she shines on the big screen. There's probably one or two too many bits, making the end of the movie a bit forced. Maybe it should have been shorter. But overall a time and I would recommend.
