I really enjoyed this film. I would recommend it to anyone who likes coming of age dramas as well as to anyone who likes to see the underdog succeed.

I really enjoyed this movie, and the dynamics of a loving family were a joy to see. When the youngest daughter, the only hearing member of a deaf family, wants to pursue her dream of singing and attending college, it's her story front and center. Yet the family is what surrounds every frame. A very well done coming of age story, though predictable, it hits all the right notes.

This movie was interesting, and I liked watching the sign language. Besides that the plot was predictable, it had great comedy.

lovely movie with wonderful performances by a stellar cast. highly recommend.
