The story, while well acted, was really dark.

Good movie! I think you could say that it might be a little lacking in depth and too focused on stringing "gotcha" moment after "gotcha" moment but still a fun time.

A portrait of grief

The film is very good. I would rate it a 9/10. There is a plot twist towards the end of the film that leads to a surprising ending.
