I thought I knew the basic story of the Getty kidnapping, but watching this film was both informative, and emotional. The trailer made me think I would be distracted by the 'accent' used by Michelle Williams, but I didn't even notice it once the movie began.

The performances are award winning. Michelle was excellent. Plummer- JP Getty- was perfect in his role no one could have played that part with more accuracy.Charles is a powerful young actor. The sets were captivating. The overall affect was achieved- this mixture of opulence and poverty; lost souls and greed creates a disgust that stays with you for days. Afterwords one must ponder-- wealth, greed, responsibility and power. There are parallels with Trump that make the film timely.
