i liked it very much, it was powerful, intense and emotional. the cinematography and acting were excellent, i felt at times like i was their in Detroit, in the riot, in the 60's and could relate to their struggle. very relevant in the political climate we live in and the state of America today. "a must see Oscar worthy performance" thanks

Informative and intense. I was unaware of the situation that this movie was about. So it was all new information for me. This is the kind of movie that makes you look back at the realities of the struggles of the past. I'm glad they portrayed it as they did and did not down play the events. Very well done.

By far the best movie of the year w/ break out performances by John Boyega, Algee Smith and Will Poulter. I sat on the edge of my seat for most of this movie and was left speechless as the end. The cinematography is so raw that you feel like you are in the room for this terrifying experience. Poulter is able to capture both the innocence of a young officer & the evil of a cold hearted racist.
