Impressive action that gives you an up close perspective inside Saudi Arabia.

Gerard Butler is a good actor, even though he is sometimes a bit difficult to understand and is short on words. Overall, the scenery in Kandahar was memorable wit many bleak desert dry sand and isolation scene. Most of the characters are well-drawn and memorable. I liked the background stories of each man. This is a movie that I would recommend to people who want to try to understand the age-old
