The movie was a bit slow and if you aren't into these types of movies you might fall asleep. But overall I enjoyed the mystical imagitive world this movie brought to life and the meaning behind it.. not many people are happy right where they are ,most would of jumped to the opportunity to have 3 wishes granted!!

Three Thousand Years of Longing was definately an unexpected pleasure. Quite frankly, I was anticipating an adult Aladdin type movie, instead the movie was an insightful analyzation of life, love and personal fulfillment. Whatta' treat...Loved it.

It had good special effects - the story was interesting and both Swinton and Elba were good - it was just not "great" as a film experience for me.
