The movie was cute. It was more for the adults in the audience than the children.\rI was disappointed by the security screening in Edmonton. It took so long to get past their wands that some people did not even get into the theatres before the movie started. Security took away phones, watches, gameboys, and chargers (even though most of these items could not record the movie). Not cool.

It was a very good movie to watch.

\rThis is a charming, colourful film suitable for all ages. The dynamics of the featured family is the main focus. While Mirabel is different from the others, she's very relatable. It's a fun movie, and the soundtrack with original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda is wonderful.

I loved the diversity of the characters. It was a nice story that a wide range of ages would enjoy. The artwork and the choice of colors was well thought out. I'm not really a fan of musicals and this was definitely one. My daughter loved the songs especially the one about Bruno.
